Hello! My name is Diana, I am 28 years old. I am a florist and jewelry designer and I live in Los Angeles.
I love being exposed to new people, new art and ideas. I drink a lot of matcha and I'm a big cat lover; I have two gray tuxedo cats with matching white 'socks'. I've never met a cat I didn't love.
Some of my hobbies/passions:
• vintage fashion and costume, perfumes
• listening to my vinyl records (indie rock, post-punk, goth, '80s new wave, hardcore punk especially)
• going to punk shows
• going to bookstores, reading
• geocaching
• film photography
• going to the movies
• going to art museums, etc.
• every day I listen to an album a day from "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die"! - I am 421 albums in! Today I listen to Bob Dylan - Bringing It All Back Home :-)
I am happy with any postcard you choose. I do not care about duplicates so don't worry.
These are some themes I get really excited about, if you seek inspiration:
• illustrated map of your city/country
• I LOVE transit/metro maps
• viewcards of cities and urban life, I love night views
• public transportation, transit maps, subway/metro
• mailboxes, post offices, postal workers
• museums
• anything unusual: shaped card, glitter, lenticular/3D etc
• postcard with text not in English
• Tausendschön cities or similar
• costumes, crafts, local culture/folklore, local traditions
• food, produce, recipes
• airplanes, airlines
• older/vintage cards
• cards about local artists, designers, thinkers, politicians, activists, intellectuals, or other interesting people
• political cards (they are all interesting to me, even if they are not my politics)
• bookstores, music stores, nightclubs, universities, parks, etc.
• war, military history, and anti-war cards too, just anything interesting and historical
• Sanrio or similar cute things
• Princess Diana (I was born a few days after she died and was named after her)
• anything with dark sense of humor or just straight up weird! It is very hard to offend me, and I welcome your weirdest/ugliest/most boring card with open arms :-)
And I prefer no envelope, but if you use one, may I ask you still write it like a normal postcard, with my name and address in the address area. I like to put the stamp from the envelope on the postcard.
If you don't know what to write: please tell me about your favorite radio station! I like to use www.radio.garden to listen to stations all over the world.
Thank you!
