Geography Postcards.

Hello!
My name is Michael, you can call me Mike. I am from Makassar, Indonesia. Currently, Makassar is the largest city in Eastern Indonesia, with more than 1,5 million population. The city is famous for its food, such as Coto, Konro, Pisang Ijo, and Jalangkote. Makassar also rich in history, we have been an important trading port since the Dutch East Indies era.

My hobby is learning about new cultures. One of the most memorable experiences is when I went to South Korea and tried the Hanbuk. It was so nice! My other hobby is, of course, collecting stamps and post card from around the world, since I can learn about the culture and history of other countries from their stamps. Currently, I love doing morning bicycle around my town and keen to learn new sports such as golf and tennis.

My favorite Music is the 70s-80s music, such as Bee Gees, The Beatles, Chicago, EW&F, and ABBA! For Japanese also similar, with Matsuda Seiko and Akina Nakamori as my most favorite singers of all time! I love reading Manga and Non-fiction novels. Now, I read Detective Conan's manga. I really passionate about international relations and world politics, I can discuss it for hours even days with my colleagues, although I am a computer engineering student now! I want to be Indonesia's ambassador sometime in the future.

Currently, I am studying Japanese and Chinese. I also learn a new programming language which is Flutter. I also would like to improve my entrepreneurial skill in the near future. My secret and hidden talent are I can sing at karaoke for hours! :D

I am currently a university student in Jakarta and would like to continue my study in East Asia. I am studying Computer Science now and for my Master's degree, I want to learn Business Management. I am currently considering Japan and China as my destination country. My highest achievement so far is can serve my country as a liaison officer for the Ministry of Education and Culture. I aim to serve more for the community around me and improve education in Indonesia.

My role model is my parents since they give me a lot of support and wisdom since I was a kid. All of my current achievement is possible because of their kindness towards me. The thing that can make me smile is a kind word from people around me.
