My name is Guljahan, and my name translates to "flower of the world." "I live in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It’s a city known for its stunning white marble architecture and rich history, and I would love to share a piece of its culture with you!".I’m so excited to be part of the Postcrossing community! I love the idea of connecting with people from all over the globe through postcards and letters—it’s a wonderful way to learn about different cultures and places.
I am an avid reader. Some of my favorite authors are Guy de Maupassant, Leo Tolstoy, Mikhail Lermontov, Alexander Pushkin, Victor Hugo, Hans Christian Andersen, Agatha Christie, Jack London, and Arthur Conan Doyle. Currently, I’m reading Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, and I recently finished Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy.
I have a great interest in history and culture. I would be delighted to receive postcards featuring:
