Geography Postcards.

Hello! I have just learned about this site!

I have collected postcards since I was a child and now at age 76, I am still an avid collector.

My absolute favorite cards to receive are cards made by the sender. I believe everyone is creative in some way. Perhaps you are a writer and can write a little story or poem on a blank card and share it with me. Or, you love to paint with watercolors or other media and can create a painting to send. Maybe you enjoy making collages. Or, you like to sketch with ink or pencils. I appreciate each and every handmade card I have ever received. They are so special as to me, they come from the heart!

If you prefer to send a store bought cards here are some topics I really enjoy.

* Novetly cards such as Gotochi - especially mailboxes but also other designs from the different prefectures.

*Cards by local artists from your area appeal to me more than tourist cards.

*Cards that pertain to correspondence - mailboxes/postboxes, mail carriers, people writing or reading letters, pens and paper, etc.

*People reading books
*People at an art easel - painting or drawing
*Amazing water reflections
*Matryoshkas
*Interesting, illustrated maps from your area
